Within the land facilities of the marina are two outdoor car parks with a capacity of 450 cars, the largest city parking lots. The port of Rethymno is located right in the centre. During the summer months there are ferries from and to Athens, Mykonos, Naxos, Santorini and Milos.

The sandy beach of Rethymno city, just 500m east of the city center is a lovely beach with golden sand and crystal clear shallow water, very well organized and close to all amenities of the city.

The beach is always busy, but never seems too crowded. Along the beach runs the city's seafront road, Eleftheriou Venizelou Str., which is also ideal for evening walks.
